HOW WE WORK
STEP 1
We meet one another and discuss your idea. This is when we raise all the important questions and find the best way to represent your story.
This involves exploring your idea, the design, the look and feel, the style and which one best represents your idea to your audience.
STEP 2
Once we have decided upon the look and feel, we move on with development. This is where we create your characters or products, the world they live in and explore how your audience will interact with them.
This involves working closely together to ensure we’re on track with your vision.
STEP 3
We produce a basic version of the final product to ensure everyone is happy and has a strong understanding of what the project is looking like.
Once this has been agreed upon we add the finishing touches, a sprinkle of fairy dust and voila! Your custom-made animation is complete.
CASE STUDY
Myer Santaland – Tilly Sparkledust
In 2018 Dragonboots worked alongside Smoosh Creative to create an augmented reality display for the Myer Christmas Santaland. Myer wanted a Christmas elf character to entertain the young children while they waited to meet Santa and ride the Christmas train.
Texas Children’s Hospital
Dragonboots Studios was contracted by Ochrelight to deliver their creative series of animated videos for the Texas Children’s Hospital. These videos were designed to explain complex medical procedures in a fun and educational way to children preparing for heart surgery.
Ruby, a friendly armadillo and Beau, an American bison, calmly explain a range of surgeries with the aid of their robot friends the “Blings.’
These animations are the first of their kind and thanks to continued consultation with medical professionals, continue to break new ground.
